Customer Service

Shipping

Each item on the Sound Trading Co site gives explicit information on the shipping time from date of order.

Sound Trading Co. cannot be responsible for shipping delays caused by foul weather or carrier errors.

Any duty or customs imposed on international shipments are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

In any case, customers' credit cards are not charged until an order has shipped and will be notified by email when the transaction will occur.

Returns

Merchandise purchased from soundtradingco.com may be returned for either store credit or a refund, less a restocking fee of 15%. In either case, returns are accepted only within 30 days of purchase and only if accompanied by the original receipt and with product in original condition and in original packaging. (Opened packages of tableware cannot be returned or exchanged.) Returns must be authorized in advance by phone or email.

Returns must be properly packed and sent via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL at customer's expense to the address of the vendor who shipped it.

Please insure return packages for their full value and retain tracking information. Sound Trading Co. cannot assume responsibility for return packages not received.

Store Credit

Store credit is valid for any time after date of issue. This credit has no expiration date.

Special Orders

Special orders are not cancellable and are not returnable, either for credit or refund. Items that are special orders are clearly noted as such, and customers may be required to sign (or click in agreement) to a waiver specifying their understanding and agreement with these terms.

Your Account With Us

Logging In

Anyone using the web can enter soundtradingco.com, but in order to make a purchase, a user must first log in. During login, a user is required to give contact information (such as name and email address). Logging in involves creating a username and password, which allows access to a personal account with purchase history and other information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

Correcting/Updating Personal Information

Sound Trading Co. reserves the right to refuse service or cancel orders at its sole discretion.

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, soundtradingco.com reserves the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order placed at the incorrect price.

Taxes

soundtradingco.com will charge sales taxes for purchases shipped to any location within the State of Washington. Users are responsible for all sales taxes and other taxes on merchandise shipped to other states. The rate of sales tax imposed will be that of the State of Washington. ***

In placing an order, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age, and that you are providing soundtradingco.com with accurate, true, and complete information, and that you have the authority to place the order. If you are under 18, you may use soundtradingco.com only with involvement of a parent or guardian.

Necessary Information

On our order forms, we request additional information from you: contact information (such as name, billing and shipping addresses) and financial information (credit card number, expiration date, etc.). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your order. If we have trouble processing your order, we use this information to get in touch with you.

This website takes precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

When our login/order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with encryption software.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also take measures to protect user information off-line. We do not store credit card numbers from online transactions. Access to the customer database is limited to those employees with a need to perform specific functions (such as shipping, order transaction, customer service and billing), and access is password-protected.
